Lindstrom House by Cliff May in 1934

Advertisement for Cliff May and Miracle Company in Architectural Digest (1934).

In 1934, Architectural Digest included the Lindstrom House by Cliff May, which helped him gain regional attention as a significant designer (he was not a licensed architect). This issue (volume 9, number 1) is difficult to find, so I’m providing images of selected pages for those who are studying Cliff May, the Spanish Colonial Revival style, or California architecture. The house is now a City of San Diego Landmark and is lovingly preserved in the Kensington neighborhood by its owners.
